For those of you looking to plug in to a campus ministry, we invite you to join us tonight (and every Wednesday night) at 7:30 in Goshen 108A for the big kickoff to the semester.

We’ll join together for fun, food and spend some time meeting new people as well as worshipping God through song.

Later, we’ll hear the overview of the semester and then head off to a nearby hangout to relax and get to know each other better.

So come on out and join us for Impact tonight at 7:30 in Goshen 108A!

We’re glad that you’ve made it to West Chester University! Some of you are here for the first time. Others have been here awhile and are ready to move on. Still others have a little experience at other colleges and universities but are enjoying WCU for the first time this fall. Hopefully, each of you will learn to love your school and find ways to be involved during your time here.

At CrossSeekers, we’re going to be busy engaging the campus with TRUTH, starting with where we can find it all: Jesus Christ. You may see our posters around campus highlighting our thought that Jesus is a pretty big deal. Maybe you wonder what that’s all about. I encourage you to take this coming Wednesday night to check us out in Goshen 108A starting at 7:30. We’ll have free stuff as well as take the opportunity to set the tone for the semester by explaining what we’re all about, and why this group of students has chosen to engage in this movement.

We hope to see you out. But, remember, we’re not going to be sitting in one place. We’ll be active on campus, out and about, serving the community at WCU! So be on the lookout for seemingly random people handing out free breakfast bars or offering to clean your room or wash your dishes. Chances are, that’ll be CrossSeekers Campus Ministry knocking at your door or offering you a smile before those early Tuesday morning classes.

Okay, so you’re a new student at West Chester University. You’re in the process of packing your bags and making your way to campus (or, some of you will be commuting to WCU and will pack your bag every morning before setting out). Are you ready?

Aug. 22 marks the big day for many freshman and transfer students. It’s move-in day, meaning thousands of you and your fellow students will be crowding into the dorms, trying to find an available cart and waiting seemingly forever for one of those dorm elevators to arrive and whisk you up to your floor. In short, it will probably be a little chaotic.

If you’re moving in and would like some help, we’d be happy to assist you. Some of our students will be  on campus that day to help serve WCU’s new students by hauling their stuff to their dorm rooms. After all, you’ve got enough to worry about. If you’d like a hand, feel free to drop us an e-mail at wcubcm@yahoo.com and make a request. We can meet you at your dorm and load ourselves down with everything you brought with you (though we can’t guarantee that everything you bring will fit into your room!).

Welcome to WCU! We know it’s just the beginning of your time here, and we’d like to help make the transition as easy as possible!
