Hey everyone! It’s been great connecting with you and all the other students at West Chester University over the first two weeks of classes! Hope you all made it through Tropical Storm Hanna in one piece. I know those who made it to the football stadium for Saturday’s game were drenched by the halftime. But, it was a solid win for the Golden Rams. Next up: the University of Delaware (boo!).
This week, we’ll continue to dig in and reach out to the community at WCU. I’ll be in Sykes for lunch on Monday to hang out and meet new students. You can stop in and say hello if you want.
On Tuesday, you’ll want to get up early to get a free breakfast bar (or maybe even PopTarts) as our Breakfast Crew dishes out the freebies outside Main Hall beginning at 7:30 a.m. Yes, it’s early, but come on out and serve your fellow students and faculty.
Wednesday night, we’ll get together for the third installment of our weekly Impact Gatherings. We’ll press into who this Jesus guy thought/thinks He is and what that means for us. So come ready to dig in.
Next week: We’ll be kicking off our small group studies, so you’ll want to be there for the dates, times and locations of each of our studies. Whether it’s Song of Solomon, The Journey Group or any of the other studies we’ll be offering, you’ll want to get plugged in and grow with some of your fellow students this Fall.
If you’d like to meet up, hit me with an e-mail at brodie@crossseekerswcu.com and we can work out a time to get together on campus and talk (HINT: lunch is almost always good)!
Have a great week and we’ll see you soon!
