This will be the final week of the Get Uncomfortable series we’ve been working through over the past several weeks. We’ll be looking at what it means for us and what difference it should make in our lives.

Also, don’t forget about the Bear Fair drive we’re helping out with. If you can bring a stuffed teddy bear with you on any Wednesday night this month, we’ll collect them put them in the proper hands for distribution. It doesn’t have to be extravagant. Just bring any new teddy bear in to be given to children this holiday season.

Finally, we’ll look forward to next week when Becky will be speaking to students at our Wednesday night gathering. On the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, we’ll celebrate with a little Christmas flavored gathering at the Smiths’ apartment. The following week is finals week, when CrossSeekers will host a free study break for all students to come and take a breather from the stress and studies of a week full of tests.

This Wednesday night, we’ll continue getting “uncomfortable” with a look at how we should actually mobilize ourselves to impact the world around us. This will be a continuation of what we talked about last week (prayer, study and speaking about the issues).
